Xelivor
Optimized for Vietnamese telecom carriers, enterprise clusters, and modern cloud infrastructures demanding superior EMI suppression.
The global demand for high-speed, high-density data infrastructure has reached unprecedented heights. At the core of this hardware revolution are 2xN Stacked Port Configurations (such as 2x1, 2x2, 2x4, 2x6, and 2x8 SFP/SFP+/SFP28 cages). These passive component housings, embedded with high-speed integrated connectors, provide the mechanical and electrical interface necessary to connect high-bandwidth fiber optic modules to host printed circuit boards (PCBs). By stacking ports vertically, network equipment manufacturers (NEMs) can double the density of front-panel I/O interfaces compared to standard single-row cages, maximizing throughput within compact 1RU server heights.
In Southeast Asia, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) has rapidly transitioned from an assembly post to a key engineering and integration hub for global networking systems. Underpinned by government initiatives such as the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) development and major foreign direct investments (FDI) from international electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers, the HCMC industrial ecosystem is experiencing a high-density equipment upgrade cycle.
With local data center expansions driven by Vietnamese telecom giants and global tech firms seeking sovereign cloud hosting solutions, the demand for 2xN Stacked SFP+ and SFP28 components has scaled exponentially. HCMC-based network equipment manufacturers require low-latency, EMI-secure, and highly durable connectors that can withstand tropical humidity conditions while maintaining signal integrity at 10Gbps and 25Gbps per port.
On a global scale, hyper-scale cloud operators and telecommunication networks are moving rapidly towards Open RAN architectures and 5G optical transmission lines. Stacked 2xN cages, particularly 2x6 and 2x8 port densities, are essential components in next-generation switches, core routers, and network interface cards (NICs). They resolve critical panel space constraints while managing rigorous Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) challenges associated with higher operational frequencies.
While Ho Chi Minh City serves as an excellent regional assembly and deployment market, local supply chains still rely on the massive, vertically integrated manufacturing capacity of Chinese suppliers. Xelivor Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. bridge this gap by offering Chinese manufacturing precision coupled with localized logistical and technical support for the Vietnamese and global markets.
Our production facilities utilize state-of-the-art automated progressive die stamping and press-fit assembly lines. The physical tolerances for SFP+ and SFP28 stacked cages are extremely strict: even a 0.05mm deviation in the spring finger EMI gasket or the press-fit pins can cause connector failure during high-vibration networking operations or result in EMI leakage that disrupts adjacent transceiver channels. Our automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and computerized force-deflection testing guarantee that every press-fit pin achieves optimal mechanical locking without damaging PCB through-holes during insertion.
Higher port density inevitably leads to elevated thermal profiles. Stacked 2xN configurations pose a unique thermal challenge as the upper row of optical transceivers runs hotter due to rising heat from the lower row. To mitigate this, Xelivor offers advanced cage designs featuring integrated light pipes that do not compromise airflow paths, along with optional heat sink clips. Furthermore, our 360-degree EMI shielding gaskets ensure compliance with strict FCC and CE electromagnetic emission standards.
